We visited the Mother Theresa Children's Home in Sri Lanka last term. They look after up to 40 children and help to feed poor people in the district. When we talked to Sister Aroha (from Culverdon!) she said their greatest need was for powdered milk and Sunlight soap- good Kiwi items! We would love to send over musical instruments for the children but unfortunately the duty charged can be very high, so for now we will just send a bank draft and cards from Room 16. If anyone is going to Sri Lanka with room in their luggage, please let us know!
